A Message from The Director of Education

Dear Families,

As the school year comes to an end, I would like to thank you for choosing our school for your child’s early childhood education. It has been a pleasure getting to know your children and watching them grow and blossom into such happy little friends. One of the biggest joys of my time at DNPCCNS is seeing how happy the children are in their classrooms. They love school and that is the main goal of our program.

The children’s happiness and growth are due to the hard work of their devoted teachers. The teachers are fully committed to respecting each child as a special and unique individual. They are experienced and compassionate while understanding the needs for structure and limits in order to ensure their classrooms run smoothly. Our Social and Emotional Learning Philosophy along with a Developmentally Appropriate curriculum ensures that we foster, kind, perceptive, problem-solving students with a love for learning. I thank my teaching staff for their dedication to our students and school.

In October of 2023 we look forward to giving parents the opportunity to once again volunteer in our classrooms. We partner with you in the education of your children and look forward to the chance to have you see how our classrooms work and play. This is completely voluntary and we are happy to accommodate working parents. You will receive more information in August.

With summer ahead of you I hope you will take the time to slow down and connect with your children. Reading together, discussing stories, visiting museums, taking nature walks, growing a flower pot garden, listening to their stories and creating “projects” together are what build the memories that your child will cherish the most.

The staff and I have enjoyed getting to know your child. If you are returning, we look forward to continuing on the journey through childhood with you. If you are leaving us, please stay in touch as you will always be part of the DNPCCNS family.

Have a safe and healthy summer,

Barbara Fruh – Director of Education
